Supplemental Privacy Policy for Ticket/Badge Holders and Applicants

Effective March, 2020

This Supplemental Privacy Policy governs the information collection and use practices of Augusta National, Inc. ("ANI") regarding tickets/badges ("Tickets") for the Masters Tournament, Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship and/or Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals ("Tournaments"). ANI and entities that control, are controlled by, or are affiliated with ANI are collectively referred to herein as "we," "us" or "our." Ticket Applicant, Ticket holder, and other users of Tickets are collectively referred to herein as "you," "your," or "Patron." Our Website Privacy Statement, available at, and (the "Site"), describes information we collect at the Site and at any other website operated by us or any third party. The purpose of this Supplemental Privacy Policy is to provide more specific disclosures that specifically relate to our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing information about you with respect to your application for and use of Tickets. In the event of a conflict between this Supplemental Privacy Policy and the Website Privacy Statement, the specific terms of this policy take precedence, but only with respect to the use of Tickets.

Please read our Ticket Policy, our Website Privacy Statement, and this Supplemental Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, including this Supplemental Privacy Policy, you will not be eligible to receive or use Tickets. By accepting or using the Tickets, you agree to this Supplemental Privacy Policy, and any other relevant additional privacy policies we provide. This Supplemental Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Supplemental Privacy Policy). Unless you notify us otherwise, ANI will consider any subsequent use of the Tickets by you as your consent to any changes to the Supplemental Privacy Policy.

Please note that we may change this Supplemental Privacy Policy from time to time by mailing or emailing an updated version of the Supplemental Privacy Policy to you at an address you provide to us. It is your obligation to review this Supplemental Privacy Policy when it has been mailed/emailed to you. If the changes are significant, we will provide a prominent notice. Your use of the Tickets following any such notice will signify and constitute your assent to and acceptance of the revised Supplemental Privacy Policy.

"Personally Identifiable Information" is identifiable information about an individual person, as more particularly described under applicable privacy laws, such as a name, address, email address, and birth date.

We may collect and retain any information, including Personally Identifiable Information, provided from you to us when you communicate with us, or apply for, pay for, and/or receive Tickets, including when you:

  • Submit an application for Tickets;
  • Update your Ticket application;
  • Pay for Tickets; and
  • Communicate with us, such as to provide feedback, request support, or ask for additional information.

In order to apply for, pay for, and/or receive Tickets, you are required to provide Personally Identifiable Information, such as your name, phone number, birthdate, payment information, and address, as well as other contact information. You acknowledge that any information you provide through the Ticket application process (including information about anyone you allow to hold or use the Ticket and about the Ticket location and use on and around ANI property) is/was provided voluntarily, and you represent and warrant that you have all necessary consents to provide all such information.

Tickets provided by ANI contain Radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. In order to receive any Tickets offered by ANI, you consent to ANI tracking the location of the Tickets through RFID readers. ANI may link RFID serial numbers to Ticket serial numbers and ultimately in some instances to Personally Identifiable Information that you have provided to ANI. You may refuse to consent to the tracking of the location of the Ticket; however, doing so will result in your ineligibility to receive Tickets and/or ANI revoking your existing Ticket rights. If you refuse such consent in advance of the use of the Tickets, ANI will reimburse you for any monies paid for the revoked Tickets upon the return of the Tickets to ANI.

ANI may use and process the information it collects for the purpose of implementing, administrating and managing the Tournaments, and otherwise operating our business as described below:

Operate and Support our Sites. ANI uses the Personally Identifiable Information you provide to us (i) for our business purposes, such as establishing and managing your customer account, providing products and services you request (such as processing and shipping orders, and sending order and shipping confirmations), processing and collecting payments; (ii) to provide customer support, and to send you important administrative communications regarding the Tournaments; (iii) to evaluate and improve our business, including developing new products and services and analyzing the effectiveness of products, services, and the Masters Tournament; and (iv) to comply with applicable legal requirements, to enforce our policies and terms of service, and to protect you, the Tournaments, and ANI, against error and fraud.

Improving and Evolving our Services. We constantly evaluate and improve the Tournaments and services provided during the Tournaments, including developing new products or services, and use the information we gather to do so. We may use or disclose your information to perform data analysis, including market and consumer search, trend analysis, demographic analysis, and financial analysis.

Other Contacts. We may contact you through telephone, mail, or email for other purposes, as permitted by law.

Improving, Evolving and Protecting the Tournament Experience. ANI may use RFID tags and scanners to track Ticket locations in and around ANI property; to determine vehicle and traffic flow patterns and patron travel flow patterns; and to track and monitor Ticket use and attendance.
